Madras….Whenever anyone mentions this name a smile is seen on a true “Madrasian“. I know it’s Chennai now but still there’s something about that name MADRAS. Well it’s the same with this movie which was earlier name “Kaali” but changed to “Madras“. Karthi needs a “Paruthiveeran” badly as his previous ventures did not do well. He is a very potential actor, and MADRAS should regain his fame.
From the looks of the trailer you will get a picture it should be on the lines of “Naan Mahaan Alla” , I can assure it’s nothing of that sorts, this one will show an ugly picture of a section which belongs to Madras. The whole cast have put their heart and soul in to this flick. Kalaiyarasan Harikrishnan is one vital part among them after Karthi as lead. Catherine Tresa may be new to Tamil Cinema but has a decent rap sheet when it comes to movies and she is a natural, you will agree with me when you see the movie.
Madras has a great team with Santhosh Narayanan composing the music, the camera is handled by G. Murali, which is edited by ace editors Praveen K. L. & N. B. Srikanth. Pa.Ranjith from Attakathi fame is directing this local Chennai gangster flick, the trailer is impressive and has a different touch to it.
