We also congratulate Arun on his Silver Remi for the music video Stone or Sand. Among the movies that were screened in this years festival, the audience favourite movie was ‘Kanavu Variyam’. WorldFest is the oldest Independent Film & Video Festival in the World. Of over 4500 entries for all categories, from over 74 movie-producing nations worldwide, only 10% win and we are very honored to have ‘Kanavu Variyam’ not only winning two top awards but also being screened, which is even a higher honor. More than 600 International Filmmakers were in attendance for 49th WorldFest. 74 nations participating this year made it the most difficult competition in our festival.
