Madhiazhagan (Arulnithi) is an aspiring filmmaker while Malavizhi (Shraddha Srinath) is a published writer. They both meet at a pub and hit it off quite immediately. After some time, Madhi finds himself taped to the chairs. Malar’s hand is cut and she’s dead. Madhi is shocked and does everything to erase his handprints from her house. Meanwhile, the police officials discover a suspicious activity and end up in Malar’s apartment.
Will Madhi escape the apartment in time? Did Malar commit suicide or was she murdered?
Arulnithi Tamilarasu has improved leaps and bounds in terms of acting and it is quite visible in this film K13. His expressions convey the mood and make you relate to the film. Shraddha Srinath is proving to be one of the bankable actresses in the South. After Jersey, she has put up another scintillating performance in this film. After Super Deluxe, Gayathri has appeared in a small role and has impressed with her neat and subtle performance. Director Bharath Neelakantan has done an excellent job with the screenplay and keeps us on the edge of the seat for the most part of the film. Music by Sam CS is the perfect asset to a film like K13. Time and again, he is proving to be a worthy find in Kollywood.
