Despicable Me 2 is a sequel to its previous movie Despicable ME back in 2010, it picks up from where the lead character Gru(Steve Carell) leaves his dangerous life of being a super villain to care for his 3 lovely girls  Margo(Miranda Cosgrove),Dana gaier(Edith) & Agnes(Elsie Fisher). This Ex-Villain is being recruited by AVL(Anti Villain League) to nab a super villain. Where comes in the character Lucy(Kristen Wiig) a freakishly charming partner who accompanies Gru in the venture.

This sequel does not outrun the previous one though but still manages to keep you entertained throughout with a lovely ensemble of characters, each one of them are entertaining and special in their own way. Gru in the lead whose voice is lent by Steve Carell is amazing round head, pointy nose and weird accent who is a ex-supervillain, amazing dad and now a hero who saves the world. Lucy played by Kristen Wiig as his partner is freakishly charming and lovable. Then comes the 3 daughters of Gru they are simply adorable A trouble teen Margo, Naughty and dangerous Edith and then my favorite and the most adorable one Agnes, is a lovely daughter who melts your heart with the toast at the end. Supported by El Macho the Villain who is funny and dangerous. Last but not the least are the MINIONS who will keep you entertained all the while, whether they are working at a Jam Factory, or protecting the kids, or transforming in to a deadly version of minions or singing a french romantic song, these minions are the vital part of the movie, they are the main comic relief in the movie, they make you laugh so much that your stomach hurts.

This one directed by Pierre Coffin & Chris Renaud is a nice treat to the young and grown ups with loads of laughter, fast screenplay, amazing eye popping 3D effects, incredible sound and life like animation. It’s definitely worth a watch with the entire family, don’t miss it.
