Ayushmann Kurrana, the actor who is creating a buzz currently with his new forthcoming movieHawaizaada, apparently did not have an easy time shooting for the film.
Based on the real story of an Indian scientist who is known to have built and flown the first aircraft in India, Ayushman essays the role of Shivkar Talpade, about whom not much is known. Set against the backdrop of 1890’s, the fictional fantasy was shot mostly in unexplored and remote locations. One such shot required him to shoot in extreme cold weather in an area near Rajkot wearing nothing more than shorts and a shirt.
Speaking about the incident is the director of the film, “It was freezing cold and we were shivering inspite of being under layers of clothes. I don’t know how Ayushman did the scene in shorts and hats off to him. We couldnt change his outfit because it was a school scene and we had to maintain the look of that era. I am touched he did that for my movie.”, says Vibhu Puri
He further adds, “Temperature was so low that even the video monitor couldn’t be kept out in the open. We had to work extremely long hours whilst tackling the harsh cold. Ayushman lifted the morale of the unit and made everyone give their best and the crew wrapped up the shoot without any glitches!”
