Cast: Miya George , Sasikumar
Music: D Imman
Cinematography: SR Kathir
The film narrates the story of two brothers, whose father (Prabhu) is a respected school teacher and panchayat president. The eldest son Vetrivel (Sasikumar) is a big disappointment to his family, as he has failed in his education and ends up with a grocery shop. He is also in love with a Malayalee girl Janani (Mia) and is all set for the wedding. However, when a kidnapping drama to help his younger brother elope with his lover goes wrong, he ends up in a big trouble that even threatens his love.
Sasikumar’s flawless acting is definitely one of the highlights in this village-based action entertainer. Premam fame Ananth Nag plays his younger brother and has a great screen presence.
Prabhu plays a majestic role and as always he does it with ease. Samuthirakani too appears in an interesting cameo.
Vijay Chandrasekhar impresses with his villainous act.
SR Kathir has captured the beautiful greenish countryside in its right essence while AL Ramesh has backed it up with perfect cuts.
Imman’s music goes well with the visuals but nothing stays on after walking out of the theater.
Vasanthamani has tried to touch up different issues in one single script which ends up in a mess, his screenplay could have been better to avoid the knots and jerks.
